THE TESTS OF TOMAN Hippocrate distinguished four human types :
Toman ddefines four types of dogs :
We
can establish from these two classifications a board
permiting to define possible affinities between human and
dog :
To realize this test the puppies must be six months old at least. It can vary from breed to breed. The
puppies must be alone with the person that realizes the
test and that they don't know. No stimulation arround has
to remember them what is familiar and known. They
don't must hear their mother otherwise they are anxious
and the results of the test are not reliable. The breeder
must move away.
After about 10 minutes : The type L and the type F play together. Possibly the type G plays with them, but he stops at the slightlest defeat. During the play he move away crawling backwards. After a few moments, he comes again. The type A go round in circles and weeps and retreat from the way of the puppies playing. Then the breeder comes : The types A and G generally first run towards him. The type F comes taking his time. The
type L goes about his business or looks at distance. When someone brings food, their behaviour is different : The
more they are old the more the type L and F attract
attention. Even satiated, they attack the types a and G
and the breeder must often restore order so that all the
puppies will eat.
